Chiang Rai Province

The provincial capital is 829 kilometers north of Bangkok .The province contains Thailand's northernmost point at Mae Sai which is well known for its crisp mountain scenery, and hill tribes.North Chiang Rai and falls within the region known as the Golden Triangle,the area where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar borders on the north, and Laos on the north and northeast.
Kwan Phayao

This natural lake having clear and clean water occupies a space of 12,831 raise. It is beautiful and a breeding source for fresh water fishes, especially the freshwater pla buek catfish. There are a lot of food shops located along the bank suitable for dining and relaxing in the evening in during the sunset.

Located on high plateau, about 70 kilometers from Loei on the Khon Kaen- Loei Highway. Lush and fertile, it is the home of many types of wildlife. With an elevation of 1,325 meters, the Park is ideally suitable for cold climate plants and trees.
Places of interest in the area of the park are Pha Nok Aen, the cliff which offers a breath - taking view of the crimson sunrise. Pha Lom Sak, a sandstone ledge jutting into space provides a fine view of the hills and valleys. And Pha Yiap Mek, cottony clouds suggest a misty world of shadow figures.
